We are establishing a “Green House” (energy efficient) to serve a base for a team that will move into a hard hit, inner city neighborhood and begin to work for Transformation in the neighborhood. We focus especially on teens and young adults, integrating them into healthy community.
The vision of this ministry is [unique]: to purchase a foreclosed house in one of the many decaying Frogtown neighborhoods and transform it into a super-efficient “green” house (one that generates more energy than it consumes). Add in a Community Garden and you have a natural magnet for outreach, bringing hope to area residents. It’s sustainable ministry with a holistic community approach.
